Welcome to The Townville Volunteer Fire Department Website

January 9, 2012 - Long time Pendleton firefighter, David Crenshaw passed away while operating on a motor vehicle accident this morning on Hwy 88 at Porter Rd in Pendleton. He was a charter member of Pendleton VFD, with over 50 years of service within the department. He was Chief for 20+ of these years. Additionally, he served as a Law Enforcement Officer, Magistrate, and Sheriff of Anderson County. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family, along with our fellow firefighting family at Pendleton VFD. His knowledge, experience, and humor will be greatly missed on fire scenes, in meetings, and at training exercises.
